For Senior Living Facilities & Community Organizations
$100/hour · 5-hour minimum
Designed exclusively for senior residences, retirement communities and other organizations that want to provide practical, one-on-one help to their residents at no cost to the residents themselves.
I'll set up in a designated common area, where residents can drop by with their questions. Each person receives approximately 20 minutes of one-on-one help, whether they need assistance with a phone, tablet, suspicious message, subscription, app, account, purchase decision, or another everyday question.
A five-hour session allows for approximately 15 individual appointments, with the facility or organization covering the cost.
For privacy, safety and fairness to everyone waiting, these sessions take place in the designated common area rather than individual suites.
A Few Important Details
Pricing: All prices listed are before applicable GST. GST will be added at the time of payment. There are no additional mileage charges for local appointments unless discussed and agreed upon in advance.
New Clients: All new clients are required to complete a New Client Intake Form before their first appointment. I will personally go through the form with you, explain everything in plain language, and provide you with a copy before our first scheduled visit.
Appointments & Cancellations: Plans change, and that's okay. There is never a fee to reschedule an appointment. I simply ask for at least two hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. Cancellations with less than two hours' notice or missed appointments may be subject to a charge of up to one hour of the scheduled service.
Time & Billing: In-home appointments have a one-hour minimum. After the first hour, additional time is billed by the minute, so you only pay for the time you actually use. I'll always be transparent about when billable time begins and ends.
Privacy & Security: I will never ask you to provide me with your banking PIN, passwords, security codes, or other private account credentials. I will not access or manage bank accounts, investments, wills, or other financial assets. When private information is required to complete a task, I'll guide you through the process so that you remain in control.
Purchases & Decisions: I'm happy to help research products, compare options, explain services, and accompany you when making a purchase. The final decision and any purchase will always remain yours.
Transportation: Transportation may be provided as part of a scheduled Grandson To Go appointment when appropriate. Grandson To Go is not a taxi or on-demand transportation service, and transportation is not offered as a standalone service.
Scope of Service: Grandson To Go provides practical everyday assistance and education. Services do not include personal care, housekeeping, medical care, legal advice, financial advice, or emergency services. If something falls outside what I'm qualified or insured to help with, I'll always be upfront about it.
Not sure if I can help? Just ask. Every situation is a little different. Give me a call and tell me what you need. If it's something I can safely help with, we'll figure it out together.
